About
We’re a group of passionate homebrewers based in and around Milton Keynes, united by a love of crafting great beer, cider, mead and more. We meet bi-monthly at Blackened Sun Brewery, run twice-yearly competitions, and organise socials to pubs, breweries and festivals throughout the year.
Blackened Sun Brewery
The Blackened Sun brewery has supported the group from the beginning and hosts our club meets, typically on a Thursday evening.
The brewery itself is a micro craft brewery based in Milton Keynes and makes a number of fantastic artisan beers. They have a good size tap room serving a great range of fresh beer from a number of taps or you can choose from a selection of bottles from the fridge.
The brewery also hosts Barista Culture’s micro-coffee roastery, coffee shop and cocktail bar.

Upcoming Events
Club Competition
Every few months the club will run a competition based on a particular beer theme. Judging will then be performed by fellow members scoring the beer submission based on the theme guide. The winner will get a small prize and the warm fuzzy feeling that comes from brewing the best beer on the night.
